After returning home

• Record actual expenses.
• Upload and organize photographs.
• Create a vacation journal.
• Record favorite experiences.
• Record restaurants and hotels worth remembering.
• Document lessons learned.
• Record places worth visiting again.
• Add new destinations discovered during the trip to Travel bucket list.
• Save useful transportation and logistical information.
• Review photographs with family and record stories while memories are fresh.

Lessons learned

• We scheduled too many activities on arrival day.
• Staying near a major transit station saved considerable time.
• Advance reservations were essential for several attractions.
• We packed more clothing than we needed.
• Having an unplanned afternoon made the trip more enjoyable.
